Project overview

Mr. Quraysh is an official master fine art archive: paintings, sketches and museum-quality photography from the artist. The website is built like a gallery — a quiet, dark room where each work is shown with its title, year and size, and where visitors can read the artist manifesto before opening the archive.

The challenge
Artwork has to breathe online, look the same on every screen, and never let the interface compete with the picture.

What we built
A restrained black-and-gold design with a featured masterworks slider, a filterable artworks archive and pages that present each piece with its own details.

The result
The artist now has one link that presents the whole body of work, ready to share with galleries, collectors and the press.
